After 16 days of training camp, the BC Lions will finally get their first taste of game action when they take on the Calgary Stampeders in a preseason game on Saturday, May 25.
The Lions will be looking to build on their success from last season, when they finished with a 12-6 record and won the West Division. The Stampeders, meanwhile, are coming off a disappointing season in which they missed the playoffs for the first time since 2013.
The game will be a good test for both teams, as they will be looking to get a leg up on their competition early in the season. The Lions will be looking to establish their running game, which was one of the most effective in the CFL last season. The Stampeders, meanwhile, will be looking to get their passing game going, which was one of the worst in the league last season.
The game will be televised live on TSN and ESPN+, and will also be available to stream live on the CFL's website.
